But after leaving college with a level 1 NVQ in plumbing under his belt
he is still searching for work 18 months later! So unsurprisingly Michael hasn't had much choice but to resort to job seekers allowance so that he can continue to travel to the job centre.
Michael said he has applied for over 190 jobs and has only managed to get himself a months temporary placement in the whole time he has been searching.
It does make you think about the future of the trade if company's cant take apprentices on.

Whether it's a kitchen sink full of murky water or an overflowing lavatory, you've probably experienced a clogged drain before and reached for the drain cleaner.

Maybe Michael has a good future. From the 190 jobs that he applied to, I'm guessing that he sure learned a lot. I know that someday, he'll be able to find the right company to work for. I would suggest that guy to target a company that doesn't require too much level of profession and gain some experience with them. After that, I know for sure that he'll be able to go for a bigger fish. Just one step at a time. Patience and perseverance is a must!
